Boulder Beers

Hazed & Infused

This unfiltered dry-hopped ale is "hazed" in its natural state and "infused" with a Crystal and Centennial hop blend, creating a flavorful aromatic brew.
Mojo IPA
Pale in color but packed with flavor, MoJo reflects the perfect balance of hop bitterness and malt character. The unique Amarillo hop adds a slight citrus flavor to an ultra-crisp dry finish.
Sweaty Betty
Pours hazy, pale yellow with thin, fizzy white head; short retention and minimal lacing. Aroma is straw malt, banana, cloves, lemon, grassy hops, and light spice. Flavor is malt dominate with supporting fruit esters and faint hops; crisp finish. Light body with low carbonation and warmth.

Bottletree Beers

Belgian Blonde

Deep golden color with a nice cloudy finish. 1 inch of off white head with light lacing. Smell is of citrus and fruity malts. Perhaps a bit of spice and bread notes. A bit of hops on the finish. A decent amount of carbonation to compliment the citrus and malts for a good feel.

Imperial Red Ale
Poured red-orange with a half finger light tan head that subsided to a minimal amount quickly. Maintained phenomenal lacing throughout the glass. The aroma was comprised of sweet malt, earth, caramel, earthy hop, and caramel hop. The flavor was of sweet malt, caramel, caramel hop, earth, earthy hop, and fruit. It had a medium feel on the palate with medium carbonation.

Blue Pants Beers

Black IPA

A dark IPA that marries the hoppiness of IPAs with the roasted smokeyness of a black ale.

Breeches ESB (will be on The J.Clyde Bier Engine)

ESBs are essentially more aggressive and more balanced Bitters, both in alcohol and hop character, but nothing overpowering. Color range will be similar, though leaning towards the darker end of the scale; dark golds to copper. Low carbonation. Malts tend to be more pronounced, often toasty and fruity, with maybe some notes diacetyl. And despite "bitter" being in its name, ESBs are not really all that bitter.

Corduroy Rye IPA

The brewer's website describes this beer as being 7% and 70 IBUs and hopped with Magnum, Centennial, and Cascade, with a Centennial dry-hopping as well. Pours a nice amber with a glow amnd a fairly short head. Definite rye note in the nose, with a light spicy crispness, but not so much rye that you get those dark chocolate flavors. Nice herbal and earthy hop profile with some definite pine in the mix and a bit less citrus peel. Very smooth in the mouth, with a hop mix that creeps up on you and becomes bitter in the end with a nice spicy note as well.

Knickerbocker Red

It poured a cloudy brown. Nice cream colored head with moderate lacing. The smell was dominated by malts. Nice mouthfeel with a combination of sweet malts with a very slight hoppy finish.

Oaked Pinstripe Stout
The Pinstripe that has aged in an oak cask.

Pinstripe Stout
This beer is opaquely dark with a coffee and burnt malt taste. Smooth and not as heavy as a Guinness with a slightly bitter after taste. A taste that grows on you and gets better with each sip. Outstanding aroma that makes you want to sniff as you drink.

Big Al Beers

Big Hoppa IPA

Slightly cloudy orange in colour thin off white head... taste/smell is very nice fruity citrus hop bite, with a little sweetness at the end.

Irish Red

Poured a deep mahogany with a tinge of red on the edges. Poured with a 1/4inch of quickly dissipating head that left a minimum of lacing. A sweet aroma, spiced with a hint of hop. The flavor was solidly malt focused with just a nicely complementary hop finish. The body was full and smooth, pleasing and easy.

Hop Villian Black IPA

A murky dark brown served in a pint glass with a thin off white head. The nose is very much like a stout with a roasted malt and coffee style. The taste is very much coffee and only slightly bitter. The mouthfeel is silky smooth with low carbonation and a soft bitter finish.

Tutta Bella Amber Ale

Poured a nice amber color as expected. Poured with a little less than an inch of light tan head, that had little retention and left moderate lacing. The aromas were the typical malt ones with a nice hop spice scent mixed in. The malt flavors dominated without being sweet and, as with the scent, a slight hop kick tingled the taste buds. Just a little shy of full bodied, this brew was very satisfying on the tongue.

Bell's Beer

Golden Rye

Pours a light yellow color w/ a thin white head in my snifter. Average lacing on the side of my glass. Nose is rye, malt, citrus, hops. Taste follows the nose profile w/ the rye a little more present. Feel is light, well carbonated and crisp.

Oberon

An American wheat ale made with European ingredients. Belgium wheat malt and Czech Saaz hops provide a spicy, fruity balance to this seasonal ale. (Formerly known as Solsun)

Two Hearted

India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

Wild One

Raspberry and Brett aromas, finishes tart, dry, and sour

Beer Engineers Beer

Velocity IPA

Peanut Butter Porter

The first in their "Southern Nut" series, this porter uses the flavors of peanuts to impart a nutty note on top of the malty backbone of a porter.

Chocolate Oatmeal Stout

Inspired by chocolate oatmeal cookies this stout dares to go into dessert's domain and teach it a thing or two about what makes life sweet.

Orange Ale

It’s traditional blonde ale with tons of orange flavor from the pulp, rind, and zest infused into the beer.

Bayou Teche Beers

Bier Pale Ale

Using Belgian malts and American hops and yeast, LA-31 Bière Pâle is a distinct new style of beer. Traditionally brewed, we classify it as a Bière Pâle, or Louisiana Pale Ale. It is bronze colored with a biscuity malt center, herbal hop flavors and a gentle, mellow bitterness. This beer is crafted to enhance the unique cuisine and lifestyle of South Louisiana.

Bierre Noire

We use specially roasted German malts and select American hops which provide our LA-31 Bière Noire a small bite of noble bitterness and a dry, French roasted coffee flavor. It goes great with grilled steaks, hamburgers, or sausage po-boys, any spicy blackened Cajun dish, or a dinner table surrounded by those you most cherish.

Boucanee

LA-31 Boucanèe is our acknowledgment of the importance of the wild cherry tree to south Louisiana. Using cherry-wood smoked wheat we craft a surprisingly delicious and unique ale. A cold glass of Boucanèe enhances the taste of many local dishes, whether smoked or not. At our brewery, we enjoy pairing it with chicken and sausage gumbo, barbeque, sausage po-boys, and grilled hamburgers. We can no longer even look at a link of boudin without instinctively opening a cold bottle.

Grenade

When they arrived in Acadiana, our French-speaking ancestors discovered the passion fruit growing here and named it grenade (pronounced grruh-nod). We still call it that today, the fruit’s juice has a refreshingly tropical, guava-like, sweet/tart flavor. Passionné is our wheat beer, which we brew to quench Acadiana’s warm weather thirsts. The ale is the color of a South Louisiana sun, and pours with the bright citrus flavor of passion fruit.
