Avondale Battlefield IPA
Battlefield is a special India Pale Ale that is as aggressive as it’s name: well-hopped and packed with rich maltiness. A stellar balance of crisp bitterness and floral aromas, achieved by a god-like blend of English and American hops. We like to think it puts a spin on what you know about IPAs. Try it with beef dishes or any grilled/blackened meats, shrimp or light fish, and for a snack pair with strong cheeses.
Streetcar Kolsch
Kölsch (also spelled Koelsch) is a local
beer specialty that is brewed in
Cologne, Germany. It is a clear beer with a bright, straw-yellow hue, and has a prominent, but not extreme,
hoppiness. It is less bitter than the standard German
pale lager. Kölsch is
warm-fermented at a temperature around 13 to 21°C (55 to 70°F) and then cold-conditioned, or lagered.
[1] This manner of fermentation links Kölsch with some other beer styles of central northern Europe, such as the
Altbiers of northern Germany and the Netherlands. Kölsch is strictly defined by the Kölsch Konvention, an agreement between the members of the Cologne Brewery Association. It is a pale, highly
attenuated, hoppy, clear, top-fermenting beer.
Miss Fancy’s Tripel
Miss Fancy?s Tripel is a strong Belgian golden ale. The term tripel is a style of beer that is meant to indicate strength of alcohol. This unique Belgian ale is rich in flavor and alcohol. The use of malts, traditional hops, a proprietary yeast blend and Belgian candi sugar in combination with our open fermentation process creates a very special beer named after a very special elephant. Miss Fancy?s Tripel is remarkably smooth and refreshing for such a high ABV beer. CAUTION! Miss Fancy?s Triple is brewed for humans but strong enough for elephants.
Strawberry Kolsch
Like the Kolsch but brewed with strawberries.
Brothel Brown
Mr. Todd's brown is a Belgian Brown Ale. This special dark ale is brewed with roasted malts to give it a roasted, nutty flavor and dark hues of deep mahogany. Our special Belgian yeast lends a slightly tart and fruity flavor that is balanced with a crisp finish. Just like Mr. Todd, this ale is deceptively good and an easy sipper.
Spring Street Saison
Spring Street Saison is a Belgian style farmhouse ale. The Saison is our flagship brew that helped spawn the formation of Avondale Brewing Co. Our Saison is brewed with our proprietary house yeast, a 4 malt blend, traditional Slovenian hops and open fermentation. Our unique brewing process along with the combination of the finest ingredients creates a thirst quenching brew with no equal. True to style this unfiltered ale has a coppery golden color and rich malty backbone that creates a unique farmhouse brew. Flavors burst with tropical fruit that combine with hints of spicy and peppery notes that are derived from our house yeast. One sip and you will fall in love. DOMINATES.
